Omnidots North America is growing! We’re seeking an enthusiastic sales consultant to help us extend our reach in the United States and Canada through the sales of our environmental monitoring solutions. You will focus on new business through lead generation and sales outreach. You will be working remotely based at your premises in the United States and are expected to travel occasionally to conferences and customer meetings in North America.

More about the role
As our sales consultant, you will be responsible for generating B2B sales, which involves generating leads and lead outreach, closing deals, and working with teammates to improve our customers’ experience. You will collaborate with teams of the Omnidots Headquarters in the Netherlands, including the Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success Team.
You also get to represent Omnidots North America at events and exhibitions throughout North America. So, make sure to have your travel document ready!
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, although are not limited to, the following:
- Closing deals with new customers.
- Researching new leads.
- Making calls and answering any inquiries.
- Representing Omnidots at events across the United States and Canada.
Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Attitude
Required
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience. Senior sales experts are encouraged to apply.
- Proven deal closer, eager to chase down leads.
- Self-motivated: able to manage time effectively in a remote work setting.
- Enthusiastic and persistent to overcome barriers to sell new technology in a conservative marketplace.
- Experience working collaboratively across multiple functions of the commercial process.
- Ability to explain technical products and understand customer's processes.
- Willing and able to travel by road and by plane within the United States and Canada (less than 20% travel).
Preferred
- Technical sales experience, preferably in the IoT or SaaS fields.
- Located near the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area. Available for regular in-person meetings with Omnidots North America team.
