Using the PoE adapter means you can use Power over Ethernet to monitor in places where there's no 3G / 4G / LTE or WiFi possibility. For example, underground tunnels, basements, or very remote locations.

Connect the PoE adapter

The PoE adapter comes with a 3-meter (9.8 ft) long cable, with which you connect the adapter to your SWARM. To connect the PoE adapter to your network*, use your own Ethernet cable of the length required for your specific project (up to 100 meters/328 ft). The PoE adapter can be used with a SWARM of the V2.1 or V2.2 series.

Securely make a splash waterproof PoE connection

If you need an IP65 (splash waterproof) connection, use the provided IP65 connector sleeve for the RJ45 connector.

* Ethernet network / LAN Network Switch / Network Outlet with PoE+ possibilities
